Little church Big heart

Matt and Kira Argot came to Pleasantville Free Methodist Church in 2024 with their five kiddos (Arik, Chace, Briel, Beck, and Loriah). Kira is an ordained elder in the Free Methodist Church, and Matt is currently working toward elder ordination. Before being called to church ministry, Matt and Kira served in camping and adventure programs in Kentucky, Vermont, Wisconsin, and California. They bring a desire to reach the community around them, sharing the love and truth of Jesus.

Matt is a man's man who loves being outside. A lot of his time is spent in the woods, hunting, scouting for hunting, or hiking (while thinking about hunting). If he's not doing that he can be found working on a car, taking care of random handy man tasks, or heading outside with the kids to the woods or waterways.

Kira enjoys a wide range of things. In the winter, baking/cooking, crocheting and sewing, painting, and reading a good book are her go to activities, but in the warmer months, you can find her in the garden with the chickens and rabbits, hitting the trails with Matt and the kids, or finding a nice place to paddle a kayak.
